In short: I love this race - a great experience In full: Ive run a number of half marathons now around England and abroad but this one comes out on top - I just love the whole atmosphere, the course is mainly flat, many locals are out supporting you along most of the route. Its traffic free, well marshalled, what else can I say. Course changed from last year and for the better. Many thanks to the organisers - I'll be back next year Date of review: October 18, 2012

This is a well organised event, the course is all off road and thoroughly enjoyable - thats why I travelled 100 miles to do it again. In short: Good scenic course -relatively flat - great organisation In full: What a well organised event and lovely scenic course. Shame about the pot holed track at around 11 - 12 mile which certainly sapped my strength for the final push. Having said that a very friendly event and all for a fantastic cause. I travelled from Suffolk for this one as I used to visit Malvern (many years ago) as a youngster and was lovely to return and see the hills (fortunately not too many to worry about on the course). In short: Good organisation throughout and challenging course In full: Good course with some challenging inclines but rewarded with some nice downhill stretches. Good support from locals, good marshalling. Nice start and finish with stalls etc and plenty to keep the wife and grandson happy. My second year here and knocked 3 minutes off last years time, but not quite a PB. I will definately be back again. My only gripe was my number which disintegrated after 5 miles. In short: Whole event went like clockwork. Lovely scenic route, In full: What a well organised event. Plenty of car parking. Good area for registration and keeping warm. Only complaint pre race was lack of toilets. However everything else was superb. A good undulating course through some lovely Suffolk countryside - no killer hills. Well marshalled - hardly a car in sight. And to finish a nice medal. And to top it all a PB albeit by 5 seconds! All in all a good friendly event. Hope to return next year. In short: Excellent course with some challenging inclines - good town and country route In full: The course was perfect, some town, some lovely countryside, nice flat stretches with some challenging inclines thrown in. Others have mentioned problems with traffic - but fortunately I didnt encounter any. Facilities at start/ finish were excellent. After the North Hill and Ipswich Road climbs I was very surprised to get a PB.Only disappointment was the medal which could at least have had the year on it. Well done to the organisers for a great day. Hope to be back next year. Date of review: March 12, 2012

In short: Nice event. Well organised. Lovely course. Very friendly atmosphere. Will be back. In full: What a great start to 2012. Was worried about the weather but it turned out perfect for running but felt sorry for the marshalls as they must have been freezing (hats off to them). Nice friendly atmosphere about the whole event. Relatively flat course with very little traffic to worry about. And to top it all I managed to get a PB. Shall be back next year. In short: Organisation, course, facilities, marshalls, support in fact everything first class -shame about the WIND In full: What a fantastic race. All round every thing was excellent from car parking to changing facilities to medal, T-shirt etc etc. But most impressive was the course. Mostly flat and some nice down hill stretches, unfortunately the wind which, when head on, felt like trying to run through water ! I did manage a PB but only by 40 seconds. Will be back for definate next year. Date of review: November 28, 2011
