In short: Apparently they had worked hard to avoid a repeat of last years disasterous finish (despite which the finish funnel still wasn't big enough), but had then forgotten to organise the start. Water station undermanned. Nice marshalls & flat but twisty.

In short: Lots of crowds on a traffic free suburban route. Niggle was that it felt like we ran round the stadium 5 times before actually getting inside it - not what you need when you're dying on your feet!
