In short: Sticky mud, icy streams, killer hill at ~4.5 miles but marvellous fun!
In full: Really friendly; both runners and marshalls gave loads of encouragement to this old(er) runner trying out a cross country for the first time! Loved the soup at the end and proud of my mug.

In short: Great race - and fabulous to run alongside wallabies!
In full: A very hot day, but plenty of water to cool down. Lovely to run in the zoo, but pricey for spectators. Definitely one to do again.

In short: My first half - and loved every minute
In full: Having not run a half before, I was unsure what to expect but this run exceeded my expectations. The crowd support is magnificent and really kept me going; other runners were freindly (at least at the speed I was running) and the finish wss amazing. I will definitely aim to do this again next year.
