In short: Great organisation and marshalling. Love the three lap format.
In full: First standalone marathon (so a PB guaranteed!)and I'll definately be back.

Good race HQ -somewhere to keep dry! Good organisation, great marshalling and feed stations - encouragement at every turn.
Three lap format worked well for me mentally. Even got encouragement from some of the relay runners as they seemingly sprinted by (thanks Tash?) Course was varied and more on the 'undulating' side than the 'hilly' I'd been warned about.

Altogeher a great end of year race and highly recommended.

In short: Flat, fast, well organised, great medal and cake!
In full: Great race. Weather was (pretty) kind to us in the end (though did feel sorry for the kids!)

Well organised with great encouragement from the marshalls and the few hardy supporters around the start/finish and around the course. Nice touch to have your name overall and lap time announced after each lap.

Initially missed the mile markers, but ended up with a PB in 1:28 so maybe I'm better without them!

Great quality medal and a huge selection of cakes at the end. I'll be back in 2010.
