In short: one of my favourites In full: Last year there were more runners - but new organisers so I guess a few stayed away. No need. Ran beautifully. I thought the event wasn't on - so only by word of mouth found it. Might be worth an advertising banner around town. I had a nice quick run with only that hill to kill off my imagined speed! The course came in at 0.2 above on my Garmin - not much I know but that's a minute or more if you're chasing a PB Great marshalling and although a road race virtually no traffic and friendly everyone. Recommended for anyone Date of review: October 12, 2011

In short: I've been looking forward to this one all year In full: Awesome race (and a PB for me!). Just as good as last year. Hard work and very friendly.
also @ Alastiar Smith Am taking on board your comment about 'thank-you marshall's
I am one of those runner and didn't know that it may be perceived as patronising - I genuinely wanted to thank everyone who gave up their day to make my run better

In short: party atmosphere like your best family get together and an awesome run - something for everyone In full: Loved it. My first time. Great marshalls and helpers. Lots of rain half way round made for exciting trail section (i underestimated the hills!). Fab goody-bag with beanie, lots of kids for the 3k as we set off on 10.7k - weird distance. Great signposting, mix of terrain. Whole range of abilities (though happily no elite which gave me a top ten placing which I'm sure I didn't deserve). Can't wait for next year - really friendly. See you there. Date of review: September 13, 2011
