In short: Like wine it just gets better and better
In full: My home town Marathon, did it last year in the wet and the support was fantastic then, but this year all I can say is wow, all the little things that needed changing from the year before, thought about and ironed out, and the support on course and from other runners was amazing. Very proud of our Marathon and a massive thank you to the organisers.

In short: Incredible Value, Incredible Race
In full: This one actually took part yesterday 7th April 2013, it had to be postponed due to the weather, it was simply brilliant from start to finish, car parking, orgainisation, course, atmosphere, a very nice medal and goody bag. Well done to the Stowmarket Striders for putting on such a great event, and at a very reasonable price too.

In short: Top Orgainisation
In full: My first time at St Neots, not as flat as I was expecting, but a lovely course with some nice scenery, but the thing that really stood out was the organisation, I was transfered in, in place of some one who was injured, all made very easy, minimal waiting, results up straight away, excellent. Look forward to doing it again.

In short: The Weather was Bad, but the Orgainisation, Marshalling, and Supporters Were Superb
In full: A real challenge for the orgainisers in their first year, it absolutely teamed down with rain all day.

Despite that the orgainisation held up really well, the marshals were superb and the support on the course was fantastic all the way round.

Lovely Medal, Stadium Finish, Lovely Route, Gels, Bottled Water and Energy Drink provided at very high frequencies.

In Summary a fantastic event that will become a classic. Minor items of constructive critisism would be, The Finish being marked with an arch or something, and if the weather is ever that bad again maybe some foil blankets.

Really looking forward to next year :)

In short: Well Orgainised and Run
In full: I Arrived at the competitors car park at around 8-20am was soon on a bus and to the venue, there were some queues for toilets, chips and bagage drop off, they moved quickly and considering the volume of people I felt it worked well, the bag drop off was getting busy and the people operating it came outside to collect bags to relieve the wait. It was my first half marathon and the course had some climbs but also some downhills in the right places. All in all a wonderful first experience. The only improvement I would make is water in bottles instead of cups, but then I am not sure about how viable that is from a cost point of view.

In short: Ran this race for the first time, the whole event was very well organised. Everyone was really helpful, some nice touches such as safety pins and nice medals. Looking forward to next year.
