In short: Tough climb for 1st half
In full: An uphill climb for the first half of the race followed by a fast downhill for all but the last mile where it steadily climbs again. Very well marshalled with marshalls at all road junctions and a very friendly atmosphere. Finishers get a bottle of Brampton Brewery beer and a t-shirt. If I can psych myself up for the challenging first half I would do it again but it's not a PB potential course. Overall I enjoyed the experience though :)

In short: Course too narrow and should be billed as a trail or challenge race.
In full: An expensive race with a mainly narrow trail route with some overcrowded paths for all but the leaders. One water station at half-way. Basic t-shirt and pack of leaflets at finish. Chips and numbers had to be collected on the morning. Very steep section and undulating course. Should be billed as a trail or challenge type course. Poor prizes for the winners. Won't be doing it next year.
