In short: Loved it
In full: Incredibly friendly locals who didn't seem to mind standing in the torrential rain cheering, clapping and handing out biscuits. Coming into the village of Leigh was fantastic - felt like a carnival.
Really well organised and lovely scenery (from what I could make out through the drizzle). Fairly hilly but still managed a pb.
A nice touch of Olympian glamour with Kelly Holmes handing out the medals.
