In short: Lovely route - great stadium finish and fantastic goody bag :)
In full: The route was lovely, the canal towpath section was really nice. The 2 hills are a challenge, but the rest of the route is fairly quick so definitely PB potential. It was nice to finish in the stadium too, and the goody bags were one of the best ones I have had. The t-shirts were great too but would have liked if they said half marathon :)

They only negative about the day was the prize giving bit - it seemed badly organised, prizes were presented to the wrong people etc...

But other than that it was an excellent race, plenty of water stations and a lovely atmosphere - I will definitely do it again next year! :)

In short: Really good event, well organised and marshalls were fab! :)
In full: The event was very well organised and we received a lovely goodie bag and t shirt at the end. The timings were already printed out and stuck on the bar by the time I had got up there which was really good, and by the time we got back to the car we had received a text confirming our times - we were very impressed. the chip timing was also great and the chip is the best I have used so far - it just velcros round your ankle, no wires or unlacing your trainers etc...
This course would be a good one for getting a PB, there are a couple of nasty hills but mostly long flat stretches of road or field tracks, the last mile was horrible though :(
I would definitely do this event again - it was a good day.

In short: Best race yet for me - and definite PB potential!!
In full: This event was very well organised. I enjoyed the whole day and couldn't fault anything. The Halloween theme was great and I loved the halloween technical t shirts.
Everything was so well thought of, you can tell the event is good because there were over 2000 runners there!! There were enough water stations and cold wet sponges which I thought was really good. The marshals were all fab and the course scenery is lovely, definite PB potential, I think for me it was because it was cooler and iPods were allowed :)
The price was great too, to say there was a t shirt, goody bag, water etc...
I would 100% do this event next year!!
