In short: Well run race Massive improvement on 2012
In full: Very well organised, great start venue, well organised race village. A massive improvement on 2012 where there was a lack of marshalls, badly organised baggage and having to run under a road under pass at about 24 miles! Moving the start to Manchester United's ground was a great improvement on last years venue. Great support from the crowds, fast flat course. Only minor things would change would be more porta loos at the start and giving out energy gels as opposed to the blocks of what looked like jelly and were difficult to eat, (although i guess that depends on the sponsors?).

In short: Very good, well organised race
In full: Very well organised race - good start venue at Blackpool Football Club. A couple of changes could potentially make this an excellent race. It would be good if energy gels were given out along the way so you didn't have to carry them, (even if the price was raised to cover the cost), and as someone else has said it is a pain having to walk all the way around the standium to meet your family at the end. On a positive note excellent organisation, great support from the marshalls and helpers. This is one of several excellent races I have run organised by Fylde Coast Runners, including the Stanley Park 10k and Windmill 10k.

In short: Excellent race.
In full: This is definately a race I intend to run every year. Good pb potential as a fast flat course. Extremely well organised. Great value for money at a quarter of the cost of the Bupa 10k. I like the fact it is a two lap course, as helps with pacing. The only thing I would change is to have chip timing for the results. There was a timing mat at the end only meaning the results were based on the gun time. It would help to also have a timing mat at the start to give the chip time also. Although obviously a cost involved I would pay a littld extra to facilitate this

In short: One of those races you just have to do each year
In full: Great/extremely well organised race - plenty of support along the way - great marshalls. Great venue to start - Wilmslow Rugby club. Only minor gripe was the t-shirt in the goody bag - unusual colour - salmon pink, but not a big issue. Clearly the organisers had gone to a lot of effort to make this an excellent race. Definately will be back next year.

In short: Really enjoyed this race - definate PB potential - well recomended
In full: Definately worth running this race, well organised, reasonably priced and great location. I was using the race as part of my training for a marathon, so personally did not get a pb, as hadn't rested before hand, (although only about 20 seconds off my pb). I feel if you have done the right training and rested a couple of days before hand there is a very good chance of getting a pb with this course as relatively flat. Water, medal, fruit and cereal bar at the end made this a bargain at around £10 to enter.

In short: Well organised - PB - very pleased as first time sub 1:30.
In full: Very well organised - great that it was chip timed. Will definately be back next year - although not a completely flat course - no major hills and definately a good race to run if you are looking for a pb! One of many good races from Fylde Coast Running - would also recommend the Windmill 10k, (one of my favourite races) and Blackpool Beach run!

In short: Excellent well run race
In full: 2nd year in a row that I have run this race. Very well run, friendly helpfull marshalls, cheap to enter, with free slate coaster at the end. There is nothing to dislike about this race. Will be back next year!

In short: Very enjoyable race to end 2012! Trail race, so unlikely to be a pb course, but relatively fast course for a trail course as no major uphill bits. Many thanks to the race organisers and the friendly marshalls for putting on an excellent race.
In full: Excellent last race to end 2012.

In short: Favourite race of the year!
In full: By far the best race of the year. Stockport Harriers go a long way to make the race as enjoyable as possible, very well organised, excellent goody bag and very enthusiastic marshalls. The fact that the race is always full, (with a waiting list) some time in advance goes to show how popular the race is.

In short: Really enjoyable race - will definatefly be back next year
In full: Really enjoyed this race - the scenary along the shore of Lytham St Annes was great with good support from the locals. Uplifting reading at the start for Rememberance Sunday and 2 minutes silence. The only thing I would change would be to split the runners at the start in accordance to predicted time. There was a bottleneck at the start as on a quite narrow path, as there were runners aiming for sub 40 minutes intermingled with 60 minute + runners. This is also needed for safety, as there were around 700 runners.
