In short: some good, some not so In full: Good points - great support, plenty of water stations, well marshalled
Not so good points - driving to Brighton to pick up race number the day before the race. Every year the park and ride is disorganied, surely it can be improved by now. Gatorade as the sponsorsored drink, hard to find in shops compared to Powerade (previous drink sponsor)

In short: fast, fast, fast In full: A nice flat course, not the most interesting of run (2 x 5k route) yet local strawberries and the most delicious Victoria Sponge cake I've ever tasted made it a good morning Date of review: May 23, 2012

In short: 3rd time In full: Some lovely parts of the course with fantastic supports, other parts pretty dull. I personally do not like running one way with others passing you going the other way on the same piece of road.
However, got a pb so very happy. Not sure if I will do it again as travelling to Brighton to pick up running number is a real pain Date of review: April 19, 2012

In short: always forget that hill In full: Great run, well organised as usual. Reflecting back though, it could have only been me and the 1.40 pacer running as I just focussed on keeping up with him throughout the race, which I did. A big thanks to him, together with all the marshalls, spectators, drummers throughout the course. A perfect pre-marathon training race Date of review: March 1, 2012

In short: you can keep yer Costa Brava In full: Haven't run this race in a few years and got a 10 minute pb so am very happy. A helpful wind for the first 5 and then a playful challenge running into it on the way back
Loos were a little lacking, that would be my only negative. Organisation was very good, flask was appreciated, parking right next to the clubhouse was fantastic so i didn't have a long trudge back after the race to my car and it was a dry day, fab Date of review: December 5, 2011

In short: an interesting race for runners In full: First time I have run this event and a pb for me (only by 1 minute, yet they all count)
I enjoyed the race and found the route interesting and challenging, much better than some out and back routes. Finished in 1.46 and the goody bags had all gone, although a friend of mine who finished in 1.42 had one and to be fair, I didn't miss much
A big thanks to all the marshalls throughout the course who were very encouraging. I will race again and who knows, maybe next year I'll run fast enough for an illusive goody bag Date of review: July 29, 2011

In short: worth the price In full: There had been a few bits of feedback commenting on the price of this event. Personally as someone who has run a number of events, I thought it was worth it.
Really well organised, a challenging yet pretty route, marshals were encouraging and to top it off, loads of free For Goodness Shakes. I took away in freebies (that I will use) than I spent on the entrance fee.
Looking forward to next year, a perfect family morning Date of review: May 14, 2011

In short: beaten up by the heat In full: second time for me, ran last year in 3.54 and was aiming for 3.45 for this year. Everything was going well until around mile 16 when the wheels started to come off, slowed right down from 8.40 min miles to 10 min, I was all over the place and wondered if I would make it in the heat. The 4 hour pacer went past me at mile 22 and I thought 'I am not going to let you go'. Stuck to him like glue and finally finished in 3.58. Fantastic encouragement from the pacer, excellent support and a big thanks to my pregnant girlfriend Jayne who saw me at 4 different parts of the race, I think she was more exhausted than me at the end. Now resting my legs for London next Sunday (gulp) Date of review: April 11, 2011
