In short: Hilly, boggy fun
In full: A wonderful event through some nice countryside. The only way you could get a pb is if it's your first race! There was mud, there were puddles and hills (mountains?!)but it was great fun traipsing through it and the atmosphere, as at all Events To Live events, was first class.

Highly recommended for fun but not for pbs.

In short: Not the one for a pb...
In full: A nice little race around some nice countryside, villages and a racecourse.
Well organised although a bit of a trek from the main carpark to the start.
The marshals were plentiful and cheerful which is always a plus!
The hill at the beginning and 5 miles later was a bit of a never ending beast and rules out a pb (for me at least!).
Ultimately a good race that was well organised in a nice part of Surrey.

In short: Nice enough!
In full: The start of this race took a lot of people by surprise not only was there no warning a lot of people thought it was going to start in the opposite direction! After that it was a fine if uneventful course. Shame that there was so much traffic - fairly dangerous at some points (that was the drivers not runners fault) which was a shame.
Nice memento at the end and one water stop in my opinion is plenty for a 10 miler.

All in all good, but not amazing.

In short: Stunning but tricky!
In full: A great race in beautiful countryside; lovely atmosphere some tricky hills and terrain (I nearly rolled my ankle)but all in all a delight!

The marshalling was great - some of the marshals were extremely enthusiastic which is always nice to be around!

The t-shirt and beer is a good reward for the race too!

One negative was the volume of the music; did it need to be that loud?! and my wife was less than impressed having to be in the vicinity of it while I was racing!

In short: A Beautiful Squelch
In full: A lovely run through the woods and farm lands around Cranleigh. It was, as most people have stated, very boggy but once you realised that your white trainers weren't going to stay that way it was fun splashing around in the puddles! Shame there wasn't more space for spectators but coming on to the final straight was fun and noisy.

In short: Well organised but dull route
In full: I did ultimately enjoy this race and it was well organised and the atmosphere good but I was hoping more of it would be in the park (should have checked the race map). Also on the narrow pavements overtaking was fairly difficult. Still, the sun was shining and course flat so I'm not going to whinge too much!

In short: The 12th Man!
In full: The residents/supporters were absolutely magnificent - I am so grateful to them for being there and making a noise and supporting, they really spurred me on.

The race is tough though, really tough!
