In short: Even better than I thought!
In full: Really tough course, thought about walking at many points but our lovely Hastings folk kept me going. Very proud of everyone who came out to support us all, and so grateful to the lovely couple doing water at the bottom of All Saints Street I was soooo hot!!!! I found the ridge the hardest which I was not expecting as everyone says its Queensway that gets you but perhaps I went off too fast?! I will make sure it doesn't happen when I definitely do it again next year!!!!

In short: Lots of downhill, then a killer uphill twice over
In full: My first ever race, really enjoyed it and did better than I thought. The hill was tough but my training was all hill work so coped ok really. Loved the lady on the accordion and the marshals and locals very supportive. Nice big finish with lots of cheering which was lovely. A good day I will remember.
