In short: Aptly named. Wet, muddy, challenging and very enjoyable.
In full: Cracking race, very well marshalled & well organised. Lots of guidance & support from marshalls. You knew exactly what you were getting, deep mud, lots of water, challenging terrain & lots of hard hills. No criticism at all from me, not even a nit-picky one. Very impressive considering it was the race's debut. I'll definitely be entering next year if it's on the calendar.

In short: The fast downhill stretch of the 2nd half balances the demanding uphill climb of the 1st half. Very enjoyable!
