In short: Excellent!!!! In full: Well done to the organisers - an excellent event. Thanks to the many marshalls, volunteers, entertainers and other support staff around the route. Also thanks to Brooks Pacer - excellent encouragement and helped me achieve a PB. The support around the course was brill. Thanks to the organisers, marshalls and for the excellent support around the course. Not easy conditions this year, but the organisation and support were still faultless. My wife appreciated the pink t-shirt!! :-) Date of review: March 27, 2013

In short: Good event, generally well organised In full: This is a good event for all abilities of runner. Its not the best Value, but OK. I do however think that the organisers are making a mistake with last minute discounts - why sign up early when you can save a fiver by waiting until the week before? .... surely they should do early bird offers instead - reward those who commit to the event early. It is well organised, and i found the marshalls all very pleasant. I came in well over the 100th position and got a medal ... but i agree its unfair to leave some out.

In short: Well organised event - flat course with PB potential In full: This was my first event with the Fylde Coast runners and based on this i'll attend more of their events. Well done to the organisers: Excellent Web booking and info, facilities at the event, marshalling and watering. In short: Well organised event - well worth a go In full: As this race is an unusual distance I guess there are not many other races to compare with for a PB, so to do it as a hill challenge was my goal. It certainly lived up to that, but with excellent views, good organisation and a very good Tech T shirt it is an event well worth adding into your diary. I will be back. In short: Well organised small event, worth giving it a go In full: This was my first Marathon and I thought it was a good event for this. The information online before the event was clear and concise and I thought the organisation was very good, though i do agree the finish was 'weak' ... no finish line so you were unsure if you'd 'crossed it'! The course is flat and even though you do 12 laps I thought it helped break the race down, so worked for me. Other entrants were very friendly and the support around the course was really good given the small field (max 200) - doing laps suited the supporters and us alike as you got lots of support through the event. The drinks station was good and I appreciated that you could leave your own drinks at it. T-Shirt and good medal at the finish. I would do it again, certainly as an event to go for a PB. In short: Great race, with generally good organisation In full: A good course with excellent Marshalls and encouragement from passers by. Good to organisers respond to feedback making it a good value for money event - will be back next year. Good facilities available. Get there early for parking - that's my only negative - but don't let it put you off. Date of review: November 7, 2011
