In short: Great boxing day race
In full: Superb- being 100 metres away can't turn it down- my first time though!! Well organised- very friendly- growing in popularity-spoke to 2gents who traveled 2 hours for this 4.6 mile event!! 233 people this year- 180 last! Superb raising money for the church! Nice downhill start which only means bad news coming back!! It's a out and back with great course directions and helpers and an aweful lot of support from the villagers!!!! Hard 2 miles home all uphill xc and and good cheer and support on the finish line with a nice little medal for all!!! Presentation for the winners of each category and a thanks and that was that!!! Superb in my eyes!!!

In short: Death on a leash!!
In full: Maybe not as bad as death on a leash but for me personally- very tough- coming into it feeling fit , using it as another training run for London marathon, slippery, boggy, very hilly! But a great training run! Will certainly feel it tonight/tomo!! Got round in roughly 7 minute miles!! Which looking back over the course am pleased with- great strength training on the hills! Nice down hill to finish with!! not much in way of prizes- ive not done alot but most I hear give out a slightly better range. Advised but at your own perril - not a easy race!!
