In short: See you next year Chester
In full: SUPERBLY organised race, non quite as flat as I thought it would be but PB potential. starts and finishes in the racecourse. Much of the marathon is through beautiful country lanes, the support through the various passing villages was fantastic and really helped. Locals and volunteers cheering your name on (which is a great touch to the race numbers) throughout the race, handing out jelly babies. Regular water stations, isotonic drink stations and energy gels. What a great day!

In short: Brilliant!
In full: Couldnt disagree more with the previous comment, if off road isn't for you then don't do it! A wonderfully challenging but scenic race with just about everything. Incredible marking and organisation, Ill certainly be making the trip from West Yorkshire again next year. The fact I rarely rate a race is testament to how good this was. A perfect pre marathon training run.

In short: Not as hilly as expected, but a couple of long drags!
In full: First time running Eccup 10 today. Fantastic organisation, a testing undulating course but nothing to worry about. Beautiful around the reservoir and fantastic quality shirts awarded at the end (proper breathable running shirts as opposed to the norm). A highly recommended race, see you next year!

In short: Liversedge Half Marathon
In full: My first half marathon, I'd heard horror stories about the infamous 'hills' however although challenging, there were adequate flat sections to aid recovery and gain some ground!

A fantastically organised event, friendly atmosphere and really good course.
