In short: Well organised scenic race
In full: Excellent race. The rain was quite welcome, the wind less so. Will look forward to this again next year.

In short: Fast course with a small field
In full: The perfect event for grabbing a 5m PB. Very flat course. Organisation good, though could have done without the wait for water at the end (hint to the organisers!). No frills, but friendly. Will undoubtedly do this again, when hopefully I'll be in better shape to get my PB!

In short: Fantastic races in glorious surroundings
In full: Did the hm last year, but opted for 10k this year.

Everything about this race is great - scenery, organisation, choice of distance, marshalling, number of water stations, size of the hills(!), free hotdog after the finish. What more could you possibly want?

In short: Always a good race, and great location
In full: VOAAC seem to be able to organise some very nice races. I've done this one the last three years, and has been excellent each time. Even the weather was perfect this year!

In short: Great race on lovely course
In full: Quite a challenging course, what with the hills and mud (there was a lot of rain in the preceding few days), but made enjoyable by the great scenery and friendly marshals. And it also provides the opportunity of raising a few bob for a worthy cause. I'm looking forward to next year's run already!

In short: Small race with great atmosphere
In full: Very enjoyable race. Second half has very slight downhill, enough to allow a pleasing negative split, though not so bad that the equivalent uphill in the first half was noticable. Friendly marshalls, nice BBQ afterwards, nice location, and raising funds for a good cause. Well worth the effort.
