In short: Tough, but fair
In full: Great race to start the year with. Tough-ish course, which keeps the interest up all the year round. Very friendly marshalls (especially the dog in a high-viz vest!), but a shame the mist prevented us from fully enjoying the Downs. Momento was a bit rubbish - perhaps next year they could just take a couple of quid off the entry fee.

In short: Beautiful XC race hosted by great club
In full: a splendid two-lap course around Farthing Down and Happy Valley in south London - really feels like the countryside. very friendly marshalls and nice tea afterwards at the host club. great value for money too...highly recommended

In short: made it a 9.9k
In full: i made this 9.6k by my Garmin (possible caused by some corner-cutting to avoid muddy turn). see others have also measured it short. Priory is nice place to run though

In short: No frills running at its best, no unnecessary extras...
In full: lovely bright day. good atmosphere. no frills, but in a very good way - only 4 quid. plan to do this every month as I'm in London. nice break from the office at the end of the week!

In short: Good way to start year
In full: well-organised; nice to run along serpentine; friendly marshalls, especially guy at the end urging everyone to sprint. good to see kids race too. on the negative side, the loop midway is a bit dull.
