In short: For a first timer like myself, the atmosphere was great. The local support really helped to make it special. In full: Everything about the race was well organised (even the weather staying dry and sunny). The route was good for getting on with running, only a couple of smallish hills. The marshalls and supporters in the villages we passed were great. Great cameraderie among the fellow runners. Certainly one I could see myself coming back to. :) Date of review: October 9, 2012

In short: Great views, undulating path, well organised - lovely morning run :) In full: First run of this. Was concerned about muddy puddles beforehand, but it was very mangeable. Set a new PB by 9.5 mins from my 1st ever half marathon. The variety of terrain and views stopped it becoming boring an was challenging at times. Really enjoyed it and would hope to do again next year. Date of review: July 22, 2012
