In short: Cheap, cheerful and fun. Provided the weather is nice/ok. Much like any visit to Blackpool!
In full: Reading the other reviews I can empathise with some of the points. I think some simple signposting to the public conveniences would have sufficed and the route could have easily been slighted altered to bring you even closer to them.

The start was indeed a shambles and turning out of the stadium made it very difficult to make a quick getaway, losing some valuable seconds.

However, the organisation was generally good and the entry fee was cheap. Parking plentiful and accommodation (as expected)too (though varying quality). An energy drink at the end would have been nice but it wasn't the end of the world!

In short: Great scenery throughout, 1 killer hill, loved it.
In full: Really well organised and the volunteers were superb. Good facilities and reasonable value for money despite the cost.
