In short: A challenging but rewarding course
In full: First time running this one, and it's a great discovery. Yes, the course is challenging but it's well worth it as there is some fantastic countryside to run through and the whole event is very welcoming. Thanks to everyone for their efforts and time.

In short: A great local 10k
In full: A great course, which is a good mix of road, woodland, footpath and some great scenery. The route was well marshalled and the weather fabulous - I'll be back for more of the same next year.

In short: If you love hills this is the race for you!
In full: Third year that I've run this and I've not run a tougher 10k course anywhere, however the course offers plenty of rewards. Well organised and a friendly village 10k - which I love. So many thanks!

In short: A good race despite the weather
In full: A huge thanks to everyone who made sure this happened this morning. The weather was filthy but plenty of great marshalls and supportive locals made it enjoyable. Managed a good time too!

In short: A good event spoiled by the shambles at the start.
In full: A shame that the event this year was spoiled by the runners being sent off on the wrong direction soon after the start. Not quite sure how this happened but it may have been better to start the race again as it was so close to the start. Instead the lead rider was unacceptably aggressive in trying to get runners to move out of the way for the fast runners on the second lap of the office park. Not what we would expect to be honest.

Other than this the race was well marshalled and it is a good fast course. The numbers being picked up at the start worked well. Could the race organisers confirm that it was still a 10 mile distance?

In short: A challenging course, with plenty of ups and downs!
In full: Thanks to the marshalls and organisers for the race today. It's a good course if you like hills as there are a good variety. But if you pace yourself you can still get a decent time. Well organised and plenty of encouragement for the runners.
