In short: A good event spoiled by the shambles at the start. In full: A shame that the event this year was spoiled by the runners being sent off on the wrong direction soon after the start. Not quite sure how this happened but it may have been better to start the race again as it was so close to the start. Instead the lead rider was unacceptably aggressive in trying to get runners to move out of the way for the fast runners on the second lap of the office park. Not what we would expect to be honest.
Other than this the race was well marshalled and it is a good fast course. The numbers being picked up at the start worked well. Could the race organisers confirm that it was still a 10 mile distance? Date of review: April 6, 2012
