In short: Best race by miles! In full: Having completed a number of organised half marathons prior to this, I can safely say this was the best organised, most welcoming, friendly race I've ever taken part in. From the smiling, encouraging marshalls, to the villagers out supporting the runners, to the runners themselves everything about this race was great. Date of review: May 13, 2013

In short: Nice route, well organised, just a shame there's no medal! :( In full: Route is a fairly flat, fast 7 miles, with well placed marshalls throughout and two water stops (although the 1st was at 1.5 miles which seems a bit early!). Great atmosphere, and well organised make this an enjoyable race, just a shame there's no medal at the end (though you do get something - in the past I've had a bag and a mug) Date of review: November 12, 2012

In short: dull start, but excellent finish! In full: Very good setup with plenty of parking close by. Start of the race is very early at 0900 on a Sunday, and starts rather drably through town and a housing estate. Lovely after about 8 miles though when it gets out into the countryside and through to the finish. Excellent goody bag, really well organised and very very friendly Date of review: September 24, 2012
