In short: Very well organised, tough 6-miler with plenty hills to challenge your legs! Good prizes for winners and goody bag!
In full: Very well organised race with race HQ at the excellently equipped Harrow School sports ground which had plenty of toilets and showers for the small field size.

Race started with a gruelling half mile very tough climb followed by some gradual downhills. Another tough longer shallower climb followed about 4 miles but then a fast finish down to the end.

Great goody bag which also included a medal, sports drink, fruit, crisps, chocolate and a nice cup of hot tomato soup!

Prizes for first 3 men and women and the category winners (which was very generous considering a field of only circa 150).

They are planning to make this a 10k next year which will make this even better.

Will definitely do this again!

In short: Great scenary, great organisation and a good PB course.
In full: 3 lap race taking place in the glorious setting of Regents Park. Race was well organised with plenty marshals and clear KM markers. Paths were relatively narrow but given the number of competitors, there was plenty room for overtaking. Couple of tight corners which were a bit tricky given the slippery conditions. Knocked a couple of minutes off my PB given the flat nature of the course. Also measured exactly 10km on my Garmin afterwards which is a first! Good goody bag at the end including recovery drink and After Adoption t-shirt. Definitely would do this again.

One suggestion for race organisers Nice Work - There is a sharp corner both into and out of the start and finish funnel and a couple of runners lost their footing there. Worth repositioning for next year.

In short: Good scenery and marshalling on this tough 10k
In full: Overall a pretty tough 10k - quite hilly in place, very difficult to pass on the narrow trails/paths and was quite slippery due to the rain. However, the scenery was good as the route went on trails through the woods and there was a good atmosphere among runners. Marshalling was excellent and guided us across a number of roads without any issue. Free photo (taken by the photography students) is a bonus.

Overall a good, well organised race but not one for PB hunters.

In short: Good organisation, simple 2 lap course would do again. Disappointing no sports drinks on offer.
In full: Overall a very good race which was well organised. Lots of parking near to the start and plenty toilets. Decent number of water stations and also the gels were a nice bonus. However, disappointed there were no sports drinks such as lucozade available which is really a must have for a 20 mile race.

Good pacing race in preparation for VLM.

Would do it again.

In short: Dull scenary, flat and good for PBs, terrible parking
In full: Received an email the day before to advise that parking arrangements had changed so arrived nearly an hour before the start. Took 40 minutes to park and ended up about 2km from the start. Hurried to the start only to wait around as apparently there had been an announcement the start would be delayed 20 minutes. Course was 4 laps, dull scenery but flat and good PB potential. Was very windy on the day which made it more challenging. No real atmosphere as no spectators along the course. Pacers were available for those interested. Good supply of drinks available during the race. Basic medal and no goodie bag at the end. Overall, good if you are looking for a marathon pace practice run or simply a flat out PB - but don't expect good scenary or atmosphere!
