In short: A fantastic race - my first marathon, but not my last!
In full: Wonderful marshalls, well-stocked feed/drink stations (even for those slower people like me), well organised. The best bit is finishing in a stadium, makes you feel like a real runner! Loved it, be back next year.

In short: Very tough course but spectacular views - just as promised!
In full: Brilliant village event - really festive start and finish in village centre (finish line v close to great pub). Extemely well organised, water & sponges every few miles, v supportive marshalls, some crowd support along the way (especially jovial crowd at 9 mile mark), just how a good race should be.

In short: What a great day out!
In full: Much better organised than last 2 years. No queues for toilets or parking (in or out), plenty of water and energy gels were a treat! Thanks to all the villagers at Naseby for their support too.

In short: Great fun - especially that hill.
In full: Really well organised, good variety of surfaces to run on, fantastic (if outrageous) commentary - highly recommended.

In short: Glorious weather and stunning scenery definately a bonus!
In full: Mixed distance stages to accommodate all levels - so a real team event. Half the fun was in driving to your stage of the race in time whilst dodging diversions and coping with navigators who couldn't read a map!!!

In short: Disasterous run for me personally, good for my sister!
In full: There were plenty of t-shirts!!! I finished VERY late and I got one! Marshalls were really brilliant, especially as I was having a really C**p run.

In short: This is the third time I've run this one and it is always well organised.
In full: It's also a very friendly race with local people coming out to cheer you on. Both this year and last were particularly hot and it is an exposed course, but that is not really the organisers' fault!! It is a hilly course, I always forget just how much of it is uphill, but none are particularly steep.

In short: Race entry form told the truth - it is tough.
In full: A fanastic race but definately a tough one. Certainly plenty of steep hills but the view made it worthwhile.

Extremely well organised with plenty of water and wet sponge stations, all strategically placed.

One of the frienliest races I've ever been to, what lovely people.

In short: Never had so much fun running as I did with this one.
In full: Brilliant organisation, great marshalls, excellent taste in music, outragious(ly funny) commentary together with a really fun truly multiterrain course make for a great day out. Can't wait for the next two.

In short: Finally broke the sub 2hr barrier - yay!
In full: The marshalls were brilliant, very encouraging and the whole thing was well-organised. Loved the Brass Band at the beginning - very festive. It was a bit chilly, especially in the more open areas of the countryside. Definately recommend it, definately do it again.
