In short: Best/hardest race around
In full: Loved every minute of it,would recommend to anyone.i did this race last year and thought that run wales had improved on it even more this year..when people say you need a medal for running a 1.7 hill you can pause them right there and show them a real medal of it.loved the fact you get handed a medal at the top of the "hill" if you run it(put the medal in my shorts for the rest of the run)
not as bad a course as is made out tho as i think if you`ve got the legs for it you can make up lost time on the downhill parts.would 100% do again.

In short: Harder than it looks
In full: It was my first time doing this race and i think it is a soiled fun race, not as easy as it looks though and it with it adding in cross country and winding country lanes that just adds to the strain.it comes to 3.5 miles on the gps not quite 4.
A good fun race to try out!

In short: Bangor hills and heat = hard but fun!
In full: Bangor 10k was a really good race, but with it being 30 degrees it was hard and made you push yourself! the water stop was a welcome, you get a water stop at 2 and 4 miles with them both being the same stop because you do a loop up a large hill twice! not easy...overall though a soild fun race, but don`t go into it expecting a pb cause that is no happening on this course!

In short: Not the best not the worst
In full: A good little race but the way the course was set out was a bit off putting,it tended to slow you down when turning around and coming back on yourself at the finish line.also with the race being on a prom next to the sea you can taste salt which gives you a dry mouth and an sickly feel(atleast for me)

In short: Take Your Time and you`ll be fine!
In full: For the first 6 miles leading up to the mountain i got over taken alot and i knew they would wear themselves down by the middle part so just kept to a solid 8 minute mile pace and overtook about 25 runners going up the "hill"
fantastic race and my first half.love it!
