In short: An excellent well-organised race over an unusual distance in a lovely location
In full: The second time this race has happened and the second time I've run it! It's very well organised and a lovely scenic, gently undulating course on a mix of tarmac, grass and woodland tracks.
A kids race before the main event got everyone in the mood, and there was chocolate goodies and a medal for all finishers. Prizes (a bottle of wine!!) went to the first 3 M & F, and the first in each M & F veteran category.
I hope this race keeps coming to Bridlington, I'll definitely be back if it does :)

In short: About as well organised as Guy Fawkes' plans on the original bonfire night!
In full: A run in the dark accompanied by pyrotechnics is a fab idea, and the run itself was great. It was let down however by the appalling organisation around the registration which resulted in the start being delayed by almost an hour and all the runner slowly freezing. This, together with the high cost, would put me off entering again.

In short: Lovely picturesque mix terrain race with great PB potential - just watch the muddy finish!
In full: Ran the Sutton Park 10K for the first time in 2012 and really enjoyed it! A fast, flat route with lovely scenary and excellent marshalling. Great PB potential - I was only 6 seconds off mine despite suffering from a cold. Will definitely run this one again! :)
