In short: Challenging course on a hot day
In full: Really enjoyed this race. Very well organised and a lovely route. Entry was a bit pricey though.
Only reason I may not do next year is it is a very long way from home!

In short: Lovely day for it....
In full: 2nd year of doing this and 2nd year of far from ideal conditions - same for everyone though.
The hill seemed longer than last year for some reason, maybe because it was into the wind?

The rest of the race was fine. Support was excellent considering the weather. Perhaps could have done with a few more marshalls - nearly went wrong at a couple of points. The finish wasn't the best either, maybe some sort of matting could be used if it's wet in the future?

In short: Done it before and i'll do it again!
In full: Always a favourite and nothing to make me change my mind this year. Weather was the best it's been in a while and the only slight gripe is the matting which was a bit slippy. Still, the alternative was churning up the grass so not sure what the answer is to this!

In short: Tough!
In full: Phew, tough race on a very hot day. Another water stop would have made sense and a bit more enthusiasm from the marshalls would not have gone amiss either.

In short: Done it before and i'll do it again!!
In full: A nice run with plenty of downs and consequently plenty of ups too! Can't really fault it at all. The stretch on the A275 is not great but is a necessary evil I guess.

In short: Better than last year but still room for improvement.
In full: Lot's of good points slightly countered by the poor organisation at the end (again).
Got over the finish line then as the adrenaline wore off, it became apparent I had damaged my quad. Was therefore not amused to have to walk about a mile to get my bag and then the same again to try and get transportation back to the city. Organisers need to get this nailed before making the race bigger again.

In short: Perfect conditions for a very pleasant race
In full: What's not to like? Nice course, well marshalled and some enthusiastic local support.
Got a few too many mugs now though, maybe time for a change?

In short: Did exactly what it said on the tin
In full: As a pre marathon training run, this was spot on. I assume closing the roads for 4 hours for fewer than 800 runners is where most of the entry fee goes, if not, it's not very good value.
Toilets were too few and where are the results?!! Otherwise it was very enjoyable. Marshalls were great, support was great and even the forecast wind and rain kept away!

In short: Too many runners
In full: This has been one of the first races in my calendar for the past few years, I will wait until I see the response from the organisers before deciding whether or not to do this in 2011.
Thankfully missed a lot of the issues mentioned by other people here but am very sympathetic. Toilets and mile markers have long been a problem for this race and were not helped by an additional 1500 runners.
Cancelling the marina parking at the last minute and the queue to finish the race is not on.

Support was AMAZING though - thanks to everyone stood in the rain cheering.
Got a pb too!

In short: Down, down, down, up, up, up up!!!
In full: Can't really find anything to fault this race. No problems with the organisation. Very well marshalled and glad we didn't have to go through the ford. We even got the sunshine one of the car park marshalls promised!!
