In short: Glorious day, great scenery, demanding course!
In full: Very challenging course, rarely flat, mostly up or down the hill, trail so hard work but worth it!
Sunny and surprisingly warm day so I stripped off to technical short sleeve shirt and shorts, a lot of people made a mistake and run with too much layers on.
Organisation ok, beautiful scenery, great autumn in forrest, breath taking!
Negative sides: no medal, generic T-shirt that worked for all 3 today's races and any year (no date on it), I expected more for £16.00 + £4.00 for parking.

Very positive review mostly due to the scenery and weather:)

In short: Small, race for fun, good for first timers but poor value for money
In full: Route: nice park path around lakes, windy at times but it is October and open space so no one to blame;)

Organisation: no gun shot at the begenning, just crowd at the starting line, runners were not organised accordingly to times they wanted to achieve. Marshalling ok, route was marked ok. Not too many runners, most of the run I was running behind 1-3 other runners. Not popular race?

Medals; the same for 5k, 10k and 21k, no date on even year on the medal, saving money where they can...

Sport drinks: no water and no sport drinks, at least for 5 and 10k, don't know about half marathoners. Saving moeny again...

£16 for 10k race, £3 for car park + over hour drive: poor value for money.

I am begenning my adventure with running but already did Big 10k in Leicester and Robin Hood Half Marathon, both a lot better organised.

In short: First half marathon ever, glad I did it in Nottingham!
In full: +++
+ warm up by 3 lovely girls!
+ well organised
+ very nice course, I don't know Nottingham and I liked what I saw!
+ nice medal
+ water pouches; good idea!
+ drum band; great!
+ my girlfriend liked the children race when she was waiting for me (1.49.25! ;)
- - -

- poorly marked (signes too low) and in miles only

Great experience, worth it!

Some people complain about price, I wanted to run in Leicester and was just about to sign up and the price is £50!! NOT DOING IT purely because of it rip off!
