In short: duck-tastic !!!
In full: A friendly and quirky multi-terrain run- not mucky at all though- even the wooden slats by the pond were grippy .
Thanks to all the marshalls and organisers for a great event

In short: Sheffield proves its metal with an enthusiatic big event
In full: This event is BIG with nearly 5000 entrants but in spite of this the stadium venue gives it a great atmosphere for competitors and spectators alike !
The best and hardest part was the turnaround stretch with a climb that goes on for nearly a mile with big crowds out to cheer you in both directions follwed by three miles of downhill.
The finish is a helter-skelter of ascending and descending loops round the stadium and a track finish!
A special run

In short: Tissington trail this is not !
In full: Don't be caught into thinking that this race is all alongside the train in a nice railway cutting - the locomotive has the easy track whilst the course takes you through tracks fields even freshly ploughed mud for that running on semolina feel! Plenty of refreshment and spectacular scenery tough climbs along hillsides waterafalls streams and the chance for a beer in the marquee at the end !

In short: It's City meets country park in this undulating test of hills paths and contraflows but the millenium square finish makes this well worth the effort
