In short: Awesome scenery, amazing organisation! In full: This is a race everyone should do once! You catch a bus with 4000 other runners to get dropped off at the top of a hill above the Loch. Then you have stunning scenery and then once the endless hill finises at mile 20 you are downhill all the way to Inverness to be cheered and encouraged home by the very friendly locals. In short: Tough, but great fun! In full: A brilliant trail run. Some really tough hills, but all runnable. Great marshalls, ample water at the drinks stations and well signposted. Will definitely be back next year! Date of review: July 8, 2013
In full: The organisers didn't seemed to be bothered about the marathon runners. No drink station between 14 and 20 miles and only one marshall on the extra loop. People could easily have taken a wrong turning around Grafton Flyford if they had been isolated and not followed other runners.
Bit peeved that the t-shirt and medal was the same for both the marathon and half marathon. Date of review: April 19, 2012
