In short: Great race around Willen Lake - good atmosphere!
In full: All in all a good race. Well marshalled, great atmosphere, and a great charity and family feel, wonderful to see the bananas!
On a minor point, it would be better to have clearer areas at the beginning in terms of finishing times. There were a few moments at the beginning having to navigate people at the start whose pace was slower than mine, but a great race and lovely medal. Second year of entry for me, and won't be the last!

In short: Excellent scenic race!
In full: Second time event for the hubbie and I. Great marshalling, and the start this year avoided the pile-ups at the start. Well run and well marshalled! Will be back next year.

In short: Very well-organised - but more than 'gently undulating'!!!
In full: In brief, a good morning race, with excellent organisation, marshalling and route-markers courtesy of 'Purple Patch'.
The killer hill at the beginning nearly finished me off! The ground was hard, and there were plenty of interesting fox holes and tree roots to fall over, but at 7K I finally began to enjoy the race if that is the word for it! I would consider entering next year, but I'd prefer the big hills not to be at the beginning.

In short: Glorious Scenery - great inclusive event!
In full: Good race located at Blenheim, picture perfect! Great atmosphere not elitist in any way. Slight minor grumble - runner's and their dogs - not a good mix - especially when the dogs keep stopping! Would definitely do again!

In short: Beautiful scenery, well marshalled lots of encouragement!
In full: A good feel good factor of a race. Well attended, and a good mix of competitors. Parking was good, and well marshalled. Medals were of a good quality, but they ran out of large t-shirts for my husband!
Would definitely do it again!

In short: Great race, well managed and sunny too!
In full: Many club runners, but a fair mix - fine for penguins like me at the back!
Well organised and good use of the 'Slug and Lettuce' hostelry for collection of race numbers and a general warm up! Worth completing for a nice post-xmas glow!

In short: Great atmosphere, shame about the mud!
In full: A good race, and the weather held for the 10K this year, a lot better than last year!
The main issue was the state of the ground, very muddy due to overnight rain. It would have made sense to keep the race to the gravel path/concrete as mucch as possible, as there was clear potential for missed footing or slipping. I nearly slipped early on, and there was plenty of mud flying around. It would have been nice to receive a medal, rather than the boot bag!
All in all a good race with a nice atmosphere.

In short: Great race, not too hot and a good atmosphere too!
In full: A nice event, lovely to see everyone on their yellow shirts, and see the bananas set the pace. A great race for all abilities and ages, very inclusive, good on-site facilities, well marshalled, with plenty of encouragement!
Definitely worth doing!
