In short: brilliantly organised event by professionals, very friendly and supportive team with glorious scenery In full: Lovely route following river Stort with nice autumn foliage and also thanks to rain we had few days ago there were some challenging muddy bits made the race quite interesting, lots of smiling locals did cheer you up on the way and and scenery was so nice to look at, the marshals were fantastic and CPs every 5 miles with plenty of drinks, snacks...etc Sadly around mile 10 i suffered from ITBS and just wanted to walk to next CP and drop off but with a great help and courage from Alan and Ben -sweepers- still finished under the cut off time. Had a great time i will be back next year.
...special thanks to sweepers for keeping my company and not seeming to mind that when I was taking it easy...

In short: indulging, beautiful scenery, only £12 but poor afterwards facilities, no timing chip... In full: traveled long way to get there im so glad it started at 10:30. little bit a walk to start, good steady first then slowly gets harder and harder,it is not the toughest but very indulging race, after all this rain it was very muddy, you need to be very careful in some places, i seen few people fall and hurt, asking for help. Lots of water on the way every 2.5 miles with jelly babies. lots of smiling marshals, well organised race with lovely scenery. last 2 miles was downhill to finish, lots of people were cheering at the end, it was only £12 bargain! bring your own goodies all you get medal, water and jellies. no timing tag. In short: Hilly, tough, challenging course, not enough water stations at the last half. In full: easy to get there, nice car park with good marshals, 10 min walk to race HQ, nice start then dull Dartford streets, after M25 its a country side with few steep hills, lots of friendly people around... around mile 10 there is a long steep hill, not enough water stations on second half of the race again dull dartford streets, finish is good though, bit of wait in cramped area for kids to take chips off your shoes then nice medal, orange squash and banana, water, sponges.. i enjoyed the challenge it is more like a half trail marathon!
