In short: Top notch organisation In full: Been looking forward to this one for a long time and was hoping for a sub 1hr 30 so imagine my horror when i pulled my hamstring at mile 4 and had to run through the pain barrier to finish in 1 hr 35. But other than that everything was great from the easy parking, the support, the marshals and the helpers in the baggage area. I'll be back. Date of review: March 4, 2013

In short: Cracking day out!!! In full: First time for Bristol for me and won't be the last!! Other than the short and sharp hill near the end the race is pretty flat which resulted in me getting a PB and just short of a sub 1hr 30!! Organisation was top class but the mile markers could be clearer next time,i only spotted 2 or 3. Great T-shirt and medal as well. Date of review: October 2, 2012

In short: Great race, will be back again. In full: Once again a great race even though the hill through Saltram was brutal but the crowds there were fantastic as usual. The water stations around the course had plastic cups of water instead of bottles and by the time the cadet gave me a cup most of the water fell out... Should do what they did at the Manchester Marathon when they gave water pouches, so much easier. The medal was really nice but no T-shirt this year and the goodie bag was poor. But it's my home race so i'll be back next year. Date of review: June 5, 2012
