In short: Superb Local 10k
In full: Second year running the race, and must admit it is one of my favorites. Great Marshaling, mildly challenging course, especially the park sections, and the organizers do make you feel welcome.

See you next year

In short: Hills and Great Views Great Small Race.
In full: A small local XC race, with hard hills and trails through some beautiful country side. Lots of runners from across the running spectrum. I loved the hills and sheer exhilaration of course.

In short: Superb Fast Club Organized Race
In full: This was a joy. The weather was bad but luckily we missed the worst of it. The course was not pancake flat but undulating, so you could certainly keep your pace up. Starting by doing a loop of the town was great as the supporters where out en mass. As we left the town and headed into the country side there was a lot of people cheering en route especially at mile 10 ish. Going back into the down the streets where lined with people more supporters.

The marshaling was excellent, the race just flowed through, lots of road closures. The final stretch into the muddy park could have been a nightmare but the marshals warned us of speed bumps and the final 100m was lined with sawdust and carpet to help us do a final sprint.

In short: Great Local Cross Country Race
In full: Second time running this race, this year the change in course made it a more challenging race. The support from the marshals was great, the weather beautiful. The race was great, hills, trails, mud and lung aching hard at times. I really enjoyed it.

In short: A Great Cross Country Rural Race
In full: Third time doing the race, and I love it. Mildly challenging with hills and rural roads, a PB won here is one to cherish! This year there was a divert due to floods and the new part was actually harder. Other sections with changes made the race flow better than other years.

As always the marshaling is great, and coming back into the park is full of people cheering spurring you on, and the last 500m downhill section is a pure belter. The organization is smooth, from picking up yr number to baggage collection, no hitches.

The entrants are made up of club runners, seasoned runners and new starters, so there is a place for all runners.

Great to see the race sell out this year, long may it continue.
