In short: Excellent London race
In full: The only negative (the queues for the loos were long but not unreasonable, and each queue was for about 20 loos so fast moving) was the bag system - I'm not sure why they had to give all those people who already had a unique number another unique number! It was very frustrating that my husband and I missed the green start - if we were doing it again then one of us would queue for the bags while the other queued for the loos!

That aside, a wonderful race, excellent sights, and a treat for us locals not to have to wait for traffic lights at Hyde Park Corner! I quite enjoyed seeing all the other runners in Hyde Park and it made for good spectating, it meant my three year old could see me twice which was great for both of us! I thought it was balanced nicely with the more interesting first half (and let's face it, by mile 12 a lot of people were probably too knackered to realise it was the Royal Albert Hall in front of them!)

I'll be doing it again next year, as long as the VLM doesn't put me off running for ever!

In short: Great weather, great organisation, big hill!
In full: A very enjoyable event, even for someone like me who only ever runs on roads and treadmills - sorry for all those people I held up on the bumpy downhill or the muddy bit of beach at the end! Definitely not a PB race unless you are very sure of your footing and like hills - lives up to its name this one!
