In short: No shotz gels for slower racers
In full: Disappointed not to receive a shotz gel at halfway stage, needed the extra kick to keep going. No electrolyte tabs at the end either. Contacted race organisers after who weren't very helpful as to why this was, blamed the sponsor but did say that half marathon runners don't really need the energy! Erm I'm sure a lot of runners would argue with you on that. Could do better!
