In short: Great crowds made it a great race
In full: Positives: Fantastic crowd - once you got out of Edinburgh.
Negatives: Running out of water in horrible heat is unacceptable.
Overall it was well managed, an improvement on last year.
The course is a bit dull, calling it an Edinburgh marathon is a laughable when you leave Edinburgh after mile 4.
PB potential is high, well when it's not 23 degrees!
