In short: Challenging weather
In full: A big thank you to the locals and marshals who did a wonderful job in very wet, cold and challenging conditions.
No real problems.....but all I got at the end was my medal, which I was greatful to receive but some kind of goody bag with a bananna or energy drink would have been most welcome. It was my 7th half and all of the previous races something has been provided at the end. Also a few energy drinks instead of just water at a station would have been welcome, but minor points. I would do the race again for the scenery which would be much more appreciated if the weather wasnt so bad.
