In short: A touch one from a beginner's point of view. More like mountaineering in some places. In full: This was my second 10k race. As a beginner I’d rate is as the road version of the Stourbridge Stumble- and that was tough! A somewhat uneven distribution of the hilly parts - running up until you just can’t run anymore (someone compared it to mountaineering!), then comes the 6km and it’s a mad dash downhill till the finish. Beautiful scenery, I couldn’t resist taking photos and will definitely do it again but... it does require a bit of hill run training to really enjoy it without the pain. Great marshals, many thanks for the cheers and for the photo posing :o) I really wish I went away with a medal after this one. What an effort!
