In short: A lovely race on a lovely day In full: This was a well organised race on a very flat course. Plenty of very friendly marshalls around the course and good support. Easy to find, plenty of toilets and parking right next to the start. The curse is flat and definately PB potential (not for me this time) Weather was lovely. Definately one to do for any runner. It was a clubby race but didn't feel out of place as a non club runner. Thanks White Horse. Date of review: April 7, 2013

In short: Lovely scenery, with one hellish hill In full: Coming from round these parts, I knew the course and the hills, but didn't expect it to be quite so tough running up the hellsih hill at about 6K. Well organised race again from Cotswold Allrunners. Medal and cream egg were lovely but I broke off the cow tail on the run home. Good mix of abilities and all were made very welcome. Thanks for organising another great race CA Date of review: March 17, 2013

In short: Freezing cold, but a good all round race In full: The course is not as flat as eveyone tells you, there are far more gentle climbs than described. The organisation was fantastic and the race had a really nice atmosphere. The price is high, but the medal and t-shirt are good quality and the mass of drinks stops and silver blanket at the end could just about justify the price. Would love to do it again, but would find it hard to spend £40+ again on a number. Date of review: March 3, 2013

In short: Friendly and welcoming. In full: A very enjoyable road/pavement run. Good organisation and Almost Athletes were all friendly and welcoming. The laps were flat and seemed to go quickly. Carparking in B & Q was great, getting race number was easy , no queue for the ladies and the food ad water at the finish went down well. We will definately be back next year. In short: Oh the mud and hills and more mud and hills In full: WOW, what a race. I did the dash with my boys which was wet and muddy to say the least and then onto the rampage. After slipping over in glorious mud in the first half mile I decided the only way to make it round was to go straight through the knee high mud patches. The hills are hills and the mud was non stop and deep. Much harder than I expected, although probably my own fault as living 3 miles down the road, I thought the hills can't be that bad nothing to challenge round here and the weather hasn't been that wet. Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic organisation, superb medal, great price, lovely goody bags/medals for the kids. My best race of 2012 a great way to close this years racing. Thanks to all that helped to make a truly brilliant fun race. WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK NEXT YEAR. Date of review: December 16, 2012

In short: Great Fun In full: My 1st Cracker and I will definately be back next year. Superb organisation from start to finish. Queue for ladies was not to bad. It was however very very windy and cold and at points I am sure I was being pushed backwards. Brilliant atmosphere and a PB, thanks to the 3 men who allowed me to run with them and that helped me achieve it. Thanks Weston AC x Date of review: December 10, 2012

In short: Fantastic event and great fun In full: This was the first time this event had been done and I have to say it was amazing. The atmosphere and attitudes of everyone was great. The registartion fee was very good value and the goody bag was terrific (medal, cotton t-shirt, water and other bits and bobs) Water offered in bottles at 2 stations (3k & 6k) and again at the end. Lovely park to run in the trees were beautiful and the walking tracks were great running surface, although due to rain there were some excellent muddy/wet sections (up to my ankles) which you just had to embrace. Fairly flat course with a few small dips and climbs. Friendly banter and support all the way round. Reasonably price hot drinks from the cafe at the end. Plenty of toilets and no queues, good parking facility. Also a shorter 1.1k run which my children did. I will definately do this again next year. A massive thank you to the Royal British Legion. In short: Well organised race In full: Fantastic organisation, brilliant marshalls excellent support. Course is mainly flat but there are climbs along the way. Main road A48 section was not enjoyable, cars to close and inconsiderate to runners and therefore could not safely overtake slower participants. Wooden medal at the end was very disappointing, wished I had the childrens silver mile medal. Will do it again next year. Thank you Stroud AC and Stroud Town. Date of review: October 22, 2012
