In short: Beautiful Run but disappointed by organisers
In full: Fab Fab run, can't complain at all. Hard work, very hilly but fantastic scenery.
Organisation has gone downhill though - I was given a number for the fast start even though my estimated finish time was an hour longer, when I asked to change it I was told I couldn't (even though it was their mistake), the chip timing didn't work, the t shirt used to be tech, ladies and men's sizing... (being a small lady this is a definite bonus, I have loads of useless XL race tshirts already) this year it was a rubbish, shrink as soon as it's washed cotton Tee. The goody bag wasn't great either.
Apparently it's £54 to enter next year. Although the course itself is amazing, you can run an LDWA event which is also on the southdowns way a couple of weeks later for less than a fiver and I'm not convinced an extra £49 gets me anything I want, real shame.
