In short: Fun Run In full: A fun 10k run along the sea front.
Pros- 100's of santas running is a sight you have to see. The crowds all along the route where brilliant. The medal at the end and the cup are great along with a Santa suit. Great value.
Cons- The 10k start was some distance from the 5k start and unless you knew this or happend to over hear someone telling someone else where it was there was nothing about to let you know. Someone just shouted start, I only knew this cause people started moving in front of me. Run on normal footpaths which where open to everyone so when the 10 and 5k merged you had to dodge walkers, dogs, kids, cafe furniture and people bimbiling along the footpath. Not very well organised.
Think I will give it a miss next year. It is defo just a fun run and no real point doing the 10k. Date of review: December 16, 2012

In short: The most fun muddy and cold race ever! In full: What a cracking run!
Pros- Loads of loo's, good parking areas, well marshalled, loads too keep you from getting bored.
Cons- Expensive when all you get is a tshirt that you cant run in and would not go out in. There are loads of non runners that take part and the tracks are not that wide so it is very slow untill around 3 miles when things start to thin out a bit.
Can not wait to do this again!! Date of review: December 1, 2012
