In short: very good race, atmosphere feels like a big race
In full: its a really good race, 3rd time i have ran and probably the best. 1300 runners which is great and the addition of chip timing was great. i had my own bottle but only cups at the water stations and pretty much chaos at the end area but nothing major. the final run up the high street really is a great finish.

In short: best gnr ive done yet
In full: definatly my best gnr yet (done 3 so far) i do agree that the allocation of where you start needs to be more proven that would help stop the dodging quite abit. did it seem more crowded this year? i couldnt move at all at the start. i will be back next year, hopfully getting a bit quicker again.

In short: very good fledgling run, will do again!
In full: i thtought this was a very good race, the biggest 10km i have taken part in although done great north run a couple of times. getting there was great real easy great toilets which makes a change! not much suport if honest which was a downer for me but about the only one, i think despite been up n down (tho not steep) it would generally be a fast route. i think i will be doing this again, and has inspired me to get into training again since this year has been basically non-existant thus resulting in a slow time personaly..will do again next year

In short: decent race, nice route no too challangeing nothing flash but one worth doing!
In full: good race, nice route and despite ppl sayign its hilly 2ndhalf i was pretty happy with it, 3 hills in last 3 miles but really nice downhill sections too, and a really good atmosphere at end. not impressed with the number tho! mine tore off afetr a couple of miles onc eit got a little damp!! also not impressed with being told..too many entrants and so not enough mugs for everyone..hmmm limit of 350 and at most 260 being there (highest number i saw) hmm doesnt sound like too many runners to me...i now have to drink my tea straight from the pot!!

In short: top race..even better now that it was cooler this year..well worth the effort
In full: its a good race, last year was far too hot and although the sun got out it didnt get newhere near as hot as that. it is tough in parts, you think your doing well and then you hit the hill at about 9 miles and thats tough, and the incline going back over humber bridge is hard work too. otherwise nice too look at, good atmosphere bsically a good race, andnice to get hosed down again!!!!

In full: second year running this one. much nicer weather for it. wel orgnised, good size field and although maybe not the fastest route, certainly not the slowest either. marked out in km which i prefer for pacing it out. t-shirt at the end too! will be doing again...and again

In short: good decent run, nice route, good pace
In full: a good run, id liked a few more entrants, bout 500 i recon turned up. the finish line was, well non-existent and many runners didnt realise that they hadnt finished, so a big fihish sign would be welcome!! but the route was nice i enjoyed it and i did take over 3 mins off my pb!!
