Many thanks to the people of Halstead for their support, the excellent job the Marshalls and Cadets did and the seemingly unlimited supply of jelly babies.

In short: OK
In full: Took me 30 minutes from M1 to car park due to long traffic jam trying to get in ( normally takes 5 minutes) this was at 9:15 plus got taken a different route to the instructions
Defintely needs some time markings at start to help prevent congestion.
Chip timing is all well and good but no timing indications means unless you start on the front line you are bound to be held up by slower runners.
Baggage area looked very crowded so was fortunate not to need it.
If it is to remain a sizable event I think they need to improve the organisation reduce its size

In short: great organisation, marshalling and atmosphere
In full: Rain, wind and water added to the challenge to make it thoroughly enjoyable.
If you are just looking for a fast time maybe not the race for you. If you enjoy getting out and running for the hell of it then ideal.

In full: An undulating course which makes it all the more challenging/interesting. Great Marshalling, especially liked the Goldwing club helping and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the fun run.
