In short: Friendly, clockwork organisation, plenty of support, enough loos, had a lovely day.
In full: It's a couple of years since I last did this, and it has improved greatly. The staggered start means it isn't too crowded, and the new route round Old Trafford has ironed out some of the kinks. It would be nice if some of the shops and coffee bars opened a bit earlier for the supporters, and the "goody bag" was a little disappointing. Nice T-shirt but I was starving and would gladly have swapped the medal for a couple of energy bars. Minor quibbles however, a great run and bring on next year!

In short: Great fun, great atmosphere, gets better every year.
In full: Well organised, good fun, potentially fast course, good support. Of course it's a mass-participation event so not perfect for the dyed-in-the-wool speed merchant, but it's fun! Perhaps it would be more fun if the organisers told people who knew they were going to be slow to start at the back!
