In short: A great beginner friendly race
In full: A good run out. The first back after 3 months off for injury. Probably a tad too far but wanted the memento. Have done this race several times now and never enjoy the run back along the seafront but marshals were great and very encouraging. As a race organiser I know how cold they must have been by the end of the race and as one of the last runners home it was greatly appreciated. I can never understand the expectations of some runners. There were plenty of toilets at the community centre and as to sweeping the prom....please!

In short: Found the course uninspiring but marshalls were great - very encouragingg
In full: First time over this distance for a while so struggled a bit but organisation was great, plenty of water in the right places and good marshalling and it must be the first race I've been to where I actually heard the pre race instructions at the start. Nice medal and goody bag at the end making it worth the journey.
