In short: Excellent event.
In full: A testing but very satisfying run set in beautiful Kent countryside (which will hopefully provide good training for the Edinburgh Marathon in a fortnight !).

In short: Well-organized, pleasant 10 miler
In full: This was a good event on a largely scenic route and blessed with a glorious blue sky this year. A more regular start line would be welcome.

In short: Excellent, well organised, pleasant 10 miler.
In full: Very pleased to have run this one again. Conditions were nearly perfect for December(although the event can be spectacular fun in wet and windy conditions). Very well marshalled. Excellent race mementos. Good out and back course with a loop at the top. Perhaps the race pack should advise runners to allow say 10 minutes to get to the start to avoid unnecessary delays. Great event. Well done Thanet Roadrunners.

In short: Unforgiveably incompetent organisation
In full: Respect and admiration goes to all the runners who persevered against extreme heat, thirst and disorder. Quite apart from the late start, the want of proper marshalling, the inadequate mile markers and the unforgiveable lack of water it now appears that the race results are inaccurate. Surely, any decent organisation with a modicum of self-respect would make a gesture of contrition and apology in these circumstances to the individual participants.

In short: Fast, flat and fresh.
In full: A very good event with a pleasant course and good mix of runners. However, passing the finish area with 3 miles still to go was a drag.

In short: Excellent, friendly and challenging.
In full: A very well-organised, picturesque and pleasant event with excellent marshalls (especially the gentleman with the life saving bananas at half-way).More prominent mile markers would be welcome next year.

In short: My worst experience of running in 2 years.
In full: Sadly, the course was horrendous including: (a) a long stretch on a busy road dangerously close to moving vehicles,(b)a mixture of pavements, grass verges and narrow paths in housing estates, (c)hardly any local support or interest, (d)generally drab scenery (apart from the burnt out car).Due credit to most of the marshals especially the army cadets for their support.Regretfully, this was my worst experience of road races in 2 years.
