In short: Fantastic race through the beautiful Surrey countryside. In full: I have run this race for over 10 years. Well organised, good value for money and lovely trails around Holmbury Hill. Don't expect a PB though, it is all off road and hilly. Highly recommended. Date of review: July 24, 2016
In short: Worth the trip from Surrey In full: Decided to do this for a change as having been racing for years it was nice to d a new race.. Excellent organisation and atmosphere plus great incentives for good club runners. Really high standard but also excellent for slower runners.
In short: Great start for this new race In full: Fantastic organisation for inaugural race. Just a few minor points Agree with others that a bit congested in first few miles so definitely need to keep numbers at 5000 maximum. Pens need policing. Would be nice to have an energy drink plus banana or chocolate bar at end.
Great to see a decent amount of toilets for a change so people don't resort to using park/ people's gardens. Fantastic first effort, a lot of other races could learn from this.
In short: I always enjoy this race In full: A few people have commented about lack of tea and cakes. They were available, but in the smaller barn as the normal one had been hired for a wedding. Also the year the start was at Losely House, everyone moaned about the walk from the car park. Date of review: December 13, 2009
In short: Really well organised race through beautiful countryside In full: The weather today was hideous but I still enjoyed the run. This race is really well organised. A big thank you to the race organisers and all the marshalls, I wouldn't have liked to stand around in todays conditions. Date of review: November 1, 2009
