In short:
In full: Ran it last year in pouring rain.It seemed to be nealy all uphill which it isn't as it is two laps round the village so there must have been some downhill parts..Distance seems a bit iffy because the finish is on the start line-I can't believe that the loop is exactly five miles long.I went off couse because of rain and dodge contact lens' but did it in 1:10

In short: For a first time marathon run I was definitely encouraged to do it again.A marshall at about mile 22 shouted to me*you can do it,I can see it in your eyes".Whether he did or not these words kept going round my head like a mantra.See you next year.
